Scaffold Tower Lock - Safescaff

There are associated problems currently facing the mobile alloy tower/ scaffold user.

The Tower Lock provides a tangible solution to these problems. We offer a Cuff which comprises of two identical interlocking components, these readily fit most makes of tower on the market. The Tower Lock will deter the opportune thief from stealing tower components. The locks are visible and will persuade the potential thief to move on to an easier target.

The Tower Lock provides an additional Health and Safety Control measure to prevent unauthorised removal of components. Once the tower is constructed safely by the PASMA trained operative, without the Tower Lock, components can be removed by anyone, rendering the tower hazardous. With Tower Lock added, only authorized personnel are provided with keys, which can be suited per company or per alloy tower. The Tower Lock can be written in to a Contractor's method statement, which will reduce the management time wasted on constantly checking correct tower erection.

Conflict of ownership is a common problem experienced on site. As described above, only the company with their suited key may remove components. Even if components are temporarily not required, they can merely be locked onto end frames to prevent removal.
