Scaffold Towers UK (LIFT)


A most recent scaffold towers development is the arrival of the LIFTS. The UK BSEN1004 standard access system that is quick and easy to assemble, store and transport.

A width of 700mm, means you can work in tight spaces safely, a standard scaffold towers platform height of 0.6m, which can be increased in height with additional stages. Adaptable for most domestic and maintenance work environments.

These towers have the unique capability of being able to combine components from the 1.8m LITS tower and some other manufacturers scaffold towers. All this to BSEN 1004 standards, providing the health and safety you need for todays working environments.

On our components schedule gives you a complete picture of what each tower consists of, thus enabling you to choose exactly what you require. The * indicates an optional extra, the standard 125mm castors can not be fitted to the adjustable leg units, they require 150mm castors (required if you are working outside on uneven surface). If you require base plates for your unit instead of castors, please advise us, similarly if you require them in addition to castors, we will give you a price on request.

The British Standard for portable scaffold towers safety is BSEN1004 "Metal Scaffolding: Specification for prefabricated mobile access and working towers" (HD1004) and applies to INDUSTRIAL duty towers.

HD1004 published by the European Committee for Standardisation in 1992 is the basis for a European standard used across 18 different countries. BS1139: Part 3: 1994 is the British implementation of HD1004.
